Walk animation

Here's a little walk animation I made. I drew the grid in the background to match up with the Game-Maker grid. Then I added a walk cycle template onto it, and scaled it down to the proper size. I busted out the handy dandy Wacom tablet (which I'm really enjoying using) and drew Dummy to fit onto it. I'm purposely going with the color palette from the NES, to try to mimic the feel of the old Nintendo games. I borrowed the idea from Aderack from the Game-Maker Archives, who sent me a preview of a game he's working on with that same color palette. It's amazing how the right color palette can have such a big impact on how the game feels.

Hi, I threw together this dumb picture based on the new Dummy game that I may or may not ever really make. I'm not sure if it's technically part 6 or 7. Y'see... Dummy Duck 1-5 were all done with RSD Game-Maker. But... Dummy Duck 6 was a little game made in Flash. Well... so... Does it count since it wasn't really a Game-Maker game? Well... Yeah, I think so. So... I guess that means that the new game is going to be part 7. And when I think of part 7 of a game, it just makes me think of Final Fantasy VII. So, I threw this little picture together for DDVII inspired by FFVII. So... yeah. There's that. But then, if I call it DD 7 it reminds me of Didi Seven. "What a mess!"

It's taken me much too long to post this online, but a while back I got a great e-mail from someone who played one of my old Dummy Duck games for MS-DOS. I sent him a drawing saying thanks, and in return he sent me back this awesome Dummy Duck fan art! Thanks! It seriously rocks!! :-D

ESCAPE THE ROBOT

The game stars Dummy Duck and Booger the Robotamus.
I'm going to post it on Kongregate when it's done, but here's a sneek preview just for anyone who happens to check this site, which is nobody. The game is still under construction. The goal is to catch the coffee cups that float by. Right now there's only 2 cups. I'm going to add more. Hope you like it so far!! :-D
